Healing Through Animal Therapy

Thanks to a fundraiser organized by Krystyna Pyszko, clients at Santé Havířov enjoyed a special day filled with canine-assisted therapy and hippotherapy—two powerful animal-assisted therapies that brought joy and healing.

During the event, some clients experienced calming moments with therapy dogs, while others bravely took part in sessions on horseback. Each participant left with a memorable and uplifting experience.

Both canine-assisted therapy and hippotherapy play a vital role in supporting emotional well-being, improving motor skills, and providing a deep sense of safety and comfort. Animals have a unique ability to break down barriers, soothe, and bring happiness—sometimes it feels like they are the ones comforting us.
